London's dubstep manifestor Seven opens "Shaker" with a mystical, arpeggiated rhythm that builds to an intense climax from the ground up. Its dark, edgy atmospheres; square-waved lead; and heavy-duty bass weight capture the essence of the artist's vision. "Elevate" follows suit with the raw vocal talents of Joe Raygun, who manages to infuse his conscious, mind-opening lyrics into the track's wild peaks, wicked grime-esque basslines, and unconventional melodies. Support from Youngsta, J:Kenzo, N-Type, Hatcha, Kaiju, Quest, Bun Zero, Rinse FM, and Sub FM.

Tribalistic drums and vocal hums set off "West," accompanied by square wave bleeps that resonate and lead. When the bass drops on this track you feel it with a full body rumble. Feonix teams up with LSN member Joe Watson to create the wonderful, cinematic "Honne," with haunting male vocal chants and perpetual stabs. The breakdown is incredible too; yet more vocal progression and the tribal percussions to chilling effect. "Central": Eyes down, head space, full body meditation... Another collaboration, this time with Daniel Jones, also of LSN. Resonated modulated sub bass and signature drums close this incredible EP.

Uprise Audio, a key component in the dubstep community worldwide, are about to release their second album and this one happens to be by the CEO himself: Seven. Seven has been a long-time player within the dubstep ranks and has an incredible back catalog of hit records. In 2012 he released his first album Evolution, which was met with critical acclaim and spurred his ambition to start his own imprint, Uprise Audio. After the success of his chart-topping single "Walter White," as well as inclusions on the smash hit WeSC-supported compilation Live from the Future, Seven felt it was time to produce his next album and naturally teamed up with the guys at WeSC again to deliver this new 11-track album together. The self-titled album Seven is not by any means a conventional dubstep album and Seven has stepped outside of the box with a versatile approach to crafting these works. Each track unfolds like a story, transitioning from one to the next like chapters in a book, each of which have that Seven trademark sound, keeping the album cohesive and cinematic.

Uprise Audio's latest release sees collective member L.A./London-based producer Asylum return to the fold, featuring two very different productions. "Always Love" features the three key ingredients any dubstep production worth its weight needs; beats, bass and space. A hypnotizing vocal sashays over sparse percussive hits, a reverb'd snare and a thumping kick, while Asylum's notorious sub skills once again play their part in putting any decent system to the test. "Bad Habit" is a slightly more laid-back affair, but beneath the synth waves, captivating mids and tight drumwork lies a solid bass line that commands both attention and respect.

LSN are a group consisting of six musicians/producers, including a lead female vocalist. Here they present their first solo release on Uprise Audio in the form of their Apollo EP. "Renegade" begins with deep cinematic impact -- the sounding of a division bell and haunting vocal pads which filter in and out of rainy atmospherics. The track builds slowly, but intensely, captivating the attention of the listener and maintaining their focus. Every element adds to its vast sonic soundscape and contributes to the tension which evolves within it. Support from Youngsta, J:Kenzo, Seven, and Rinse FM.

Uprise Audio releases the first EP from one of the most exciting producers in 140 bass music: Wayfarer. "Afterlight" leads the listener on a percussion-led adventure, full of haunting samples, lumbering subs and stuttering drum work. "Azuma" follows with its own personality, bringing an exotic vibe to the EP. The track opens with a foreboding intro before the arrival of a relentless kick announces a full-blown tribal stomper. "Zeg" really switches things up, starting with an almost laid-back intro, full of sublime drum hits and atmospheric keys. Before long, the track explodes into Wayfarer's signature sound: bass, drums, space and climatic soundscapes.
