Sigillum S, have been covering unknown territories among extreme electronics, fringe acoustics, and occultist noise since 1985. The result has been an endless series of mutations, where, from the droning ritualism and ethnic explorations of the late '80s through the surreal science fiction soundtracks of the '90s, they have arrived at the super deep complexity of the new millennium. "... we propose to study a generalized growth model, including all categories of unconventional literatures and yet coalesce them around critiques of linear thought... hence our estimates would be some of the endless positive examples for further conjectures on the end of time... this could drive the need to communicate perception samples to all other forms of intelligence... evocative prescriptions which could offer potentially misleading guidance for future research, but nonetheless alter sensorial mixing times with random cycles and fragmentation chains..."

Since its creation in 2007, Hifiklub has led more than 150 collaborations which have allowed the Toulon trio to open its music to multiple artistic experiences revealing a constant desire for research and novelty. From unprecedented encounters to unique projects, Hifiklub has developed over the years a now substantial discography whose musical proposals range from pop to jazz through the most experimental sounds and even traditional music. One path, however, remained unexplored: contemporary music. Last Party On Earth is organized around the association of three energies: contemporary composer Jean-Michel Bossini, singer Duke Garwood and the instrumental ensemble Hifiklub. Surrounded by mysticism and darkness, the creation has cinematographic dimensions. It positions the listener in a depth and disposition of soul where the voice -- and the poetry -- of Duke Garwood is carried by Hifiklub and Jean-Michel Bossini around cold and tormented atmospheres. The album seduces by the detail of its sounds, its apparent tranquility and its intimate atmospheres thwarted by harsh flashes. Mixed by Alain Johannes (Queens of the Stone Age, Them Crooked Vultures, Eleven), the album sees the exceptional participation of the string trio Anpapié (Alice Piérot, Fanny Paccoud and Eléna Andreyev) who magnificently perform the score by Jean-Michel Bossini. Personnel: Pascal Abbatucci Julien - drums, percussion; Eléna Andreyev - cello; Jean-Loup Faurat - guitar; Duke Garwood - vocals, guitar; Régis Laugier - bass; Nico Morcillo - guitar; Alice Piérot - violin; Fanny Paccoud - alto.

Double LP version. Originally released in 2021, Doom Jazz is reissued by Subsound Records. Using doom -- a slow, foreboding style of heavy metal -- as a template, Swami Lateplate crafts a set of songs that creeps along powerfully. The themes are simple, generally carried by subdued bass lines and ornamented by the piano like salt on a glacier. What jumps out most is Bobby Previte's drumming. Every cymbal vibration and snare snap leaps to the foreground and, with rare exception, decays before the next strike, as much a testament to Previte's assured playing as Jamie Saft's engineering. Regardless of the rock modeling, the disc is likely to satisfy Saft and Previte's audiences; it could appeal to fans of the fringes of metal as well. Entirely produced by Bobby Previte and Jamie Saft. Recorded and mixed by Jamie Saft at Frank Booth, Brooklyn, NY. Mastered by Scott Hull at Scott Hull Mastering, NY. The artwork was designed by Hadi Nasiri. Personel: Bobby Previte - trap drums; Jamie Saft - piano, organ, mellotron, electric bass.

Subsound Records release an exclusive, limited tape edition of the Cannibal Corpse album, Violence Unimagined. The album title already tells you everything you need to know about Cannibal Corpse's fifteenth hellish opus. Comprised of eleven brutal tracks, Violence Unimagined is state of the art death metal played with passion and breathless precision, making for another flawless addition to what is inarguably one of the premier catalogs the genre has thrown up. "It really follows the path we've been going down for a few years now," states bassist and founding member Alex Webster. "I think we approach the writing in a similar way most every time: each of us try to write the heaviest, most memorable songs we can. We want each song to have its own identifiable character. Showing my age, I like to say you can 'drop the needle' on any point of one of our albums and quickly tell which song you're listening to." While they continue to do what they do with aplomb, the one substantial change to Cannibal Corpse is the addition of guitarist Erik Rutan to their ranks, joining Webster, founding drummer Paul Mazurkiewicz, guitarist Rob Barrett and vocalist George "Corpsegrinder" Fisher. Known for his roles in Morbid Angel, Ripping Corpse and most notably fronting the mighty Hate Eternal, Rutan has long established himself as one of the most dynamic forces in contemporary death metal. Simultaneously, he has built up a reputation as one of the most in demand producers in metal, having previously produced four Cannibal Corpse albums (in addition to Violence Unimagined), alongside the likes of Goatwhore, Soilent Green, and Belphegor. Filling in live on guitar since 2019, in 2020 he became a full member, contributing to the writing process. Already well known for the level of extreme technicality they bring to every record, on Violence Unimagined, Cannibal Corpse have further upped their game, particularly in Mazurkiewicz's drumming. "I think we all pushed ourselves a bit technically on this one, with Paul probably pushing the hardest. This album is probably the most drum-intense album we've done yet. Part of that could be a result of Erik joining the band. His song writing style often features technically challenging drumming, probably owing to his years of experience in high-speed death metal." And with typically dark and warped lyrical content, Mazurkiewicz came up with the fitting title of the record, "summing up what the band is about in every facet, and taking violence to another level of extremity."

Sarram is the solo project of the Sardinian Valerio Marras which combines elements of drone/ambient, post-rock, doom and electronica. Albero is Sarram's fourth album, a well mix of drone and ambient soundscapes, crushing and doom-ish guitar sound walls, very repetitive loops while also incorporating electronic and traditional warm whispers. It's a very deep and intense sound journey, a dark and dynamic ceremony of frequencies. Also guitar player of the postrock-oriented trio Thank U For Smoking and the post-metal 4tet Charun. Valerio Marras played intensely all over Europe including appearances at the KME, Schwarzer Herbst in Germany, Whoneedslyrics?! in Slovakia, Johanneskirche in Lobau, The Academy of fine Arts in Munich, Spazio musica project and Signal Fest in Cagliari, Dunk!Festival in Belgium and Young Team in France; collaborations with MAN Museum and Ciusa Museum in Nuoro, Mua Museum in Sinnai, Nubifilm, Animamundi and the naturalistic photographer Bobore Frau. Artwork by Animamundi. Mastering by James Plotkin.

Supervøid: an empty section of space defined by the lack of superclusters. In this particular case, this empty section of space is missing an estimated 10,000 galaxies. Scientists suspect that it may be draining energy from light travelling through. Getting through such a big chasm takes hundreds of millions of years. The travel has begun. Supervøid is a new three-piece instrumental combo with roots in doom, sludge, noise, ambient, and blues/country. Formed in 2017 by guitar player/producer Eraldo Bernocchi, guitar player Xabier Iriondo, drummer Jacopo Pierazzuoli the trio decided to involve avant/classic cellist Jo Quail choosing cello instead of a vocalist as a feature on the debut album. Supervøid delivers a huge impact in terms of emotions and energy combining heavy riffs with cinematic atmospheres, ambient washes with groovy giant down tuned guitars, classical strings sections looped in real time with noise walls juxtaposing the elements to create an organic contrast. Supervøid has no singer because it has a cello player, a voice-non-voice lying down captivating melodic and harmonic movements into the nothingness of the "giant nothing"; as well has no bass player as Bernocchi's guitars have been treated in order to add sub frequencies to the mix. After months of work the combo recorded their debut album The Giant Nothing and is now ready to release it. Produced by the band and mixed by Eraldo Bernocchi the debut album is an emotional rollercoaster ranging from in your face sludge/doom tracks to soundtrack oriented ambient bluesy pieces with baritone guitars and cello dialogue with noisy interventions and spaced percussions.

In the spring of 2017, Hayvanlar Alemi closed themselves in a studio in a small Italian town for a few days and recorded material for multiple future releases. Psychedelia In Times of Turbulence includes the heavier compositions that came out of these sessions, and marks a further stage in the band's 20-year history with a more layered production and an emphasis on slower, progressive compositions that carry elements from drone metal, stoner rock, and psychedelic doom, while subtly preserving the overtones of the band's brand of globally-informed folkloric psych rock. This album presents the side of Hayvanlar Alemi which tends towards the darker without losing color, and tends towards the somber without losing vitality, with songs that surrender to gravity but refuse to touch the ground.
Hayvanlar Alemi is an instrumental psychedelic, folk-rock band founded in Ankara in 1999. Throughout the years, the band has developed a style of its own, inspired by the innovative musical heritage of Turkey but also informed by the traditional and popular styles of the globe, blending together scales and rhythms of Asia, Africa, Middle East, and South America with surf, dub, stoner rock, and free improvisation. The ensemble's music has been released under labels such as Sublime Frequencies (USA), Unrock (Germany), and Glitterbeat (Germany), and received positive reviews from publications such as Wire, The Guardian, and Uncut. Hayvanlar Alemi has most recently released the compilation 15 Golden Adventures on Shalgam Records (Turkey), which includes a selection for beginners culled from the band's releases between 2008 and 2016. Psychedelia in Times of Turbulence, on Subsound Records (Italy), is highlighted by influences of doom and drone metal. Hayvanlar Alemi records and tours mostly in a power trio form consisting of Özüm İtez on guitar, Hazar Mutgan on bass, and Işık Sarıhan on drums, occasionally joined by Gökçe Başar on second guitar.
