Aborym's 2003 album, With No Human Intervention, marks a key moment in European industrial black metal. Compared to their debut, the band pushes the fusion of black metal and industrial electronics even further, creating a colder, more mechanical, and chaotic sound. The extreme guitars and signature black metal vocals intertwine with drum machines, abrasive synths, and digital noises, giving the impression of an almost "dehumanized" music, as the title suggests. The atmosphere is dystopian and aggressive, far removed from more traditional metal: it focuses not on melody but on a dense and oppressive sonic impact, where everything seems filtered through a technological lens. In short, it's an album that pushes the idea of black metal to the extreme, bringing it into an industrial and cyberpunk universe, becoming one of the band's most iconic works. Also available on red/black splatter color vinyl (SSR 170LTD-LP).

The project was born from the meeting of a live-played, unprocessed Game Boy and a distorted guitar. Recorded, mixed, and mastered by Riccardo Gamondi (of Uochi Toki), Gom Jabbar delivers eight tracks of low-resolution violence, interspersed with ambient soundscapes. The lyrics explore the dystopia of contemporary capitalism. This approach extends beyond the music itself: the band embraces copyleft licenses and carries this stance into its distribution and touring choices. They believe in the subversive power of gathering in person and playing loud, angry music. Also available on yellow vinyl (SSR 171LTD-LP).

RELEASE DATE: 7/3/2026
Vanessa Van Basten (neither a Dutch singer nor the wife of a famous football player) was born in Genoa, Italy, in 2004 as a one-man band. Founded by Morgan Bellini, a DJ at the time, Vanessa was immediately acclaimed by critics since the release of the first self-titled demo. A cinematic mix of post-rock, sludge metal and shoegaze: quite a new sound within the Italian underground scene in that period. Several labels are interested in producing the band, that seemed to have developed its own style, more focused on the general atmosphere than on brute strength. When permanent drummer Roberto Della Rocca also joined the band, the trio released Psygnosis EP via Consouling Sounds and started playing live quite intensely until 2010, when Bellini moved to Austria and declared the band was again a studio project only. In the same year, Vanessa signed for American label Robotic Empire and released Closer to the Small/Dark/Door, their second album. This full length contains shorter tracks and is influenced also by Morricone and by 4AD '80 albums. To everyone's surprise, in 2023 Bellini reunited the original Vanessa Van Basten lineup and began recording a new album, Yes, to be released by Italian label Subsound Records. The band members consider this album a great return to their early style. Even if Vanessa Van Basten never pushed on promotion or social networks and with less than a hundred live shows in the mid '00, it has always been critically acclaimed, it is considered a cult band and it has unsuspected admirers, as Randy Blithe of Lamb of God (who said they're "geniuses"). Also available on color vinyl (SSR 168LTD-LP).

RELEASE DATE: 6/12/2026
Originally released in 2004 on the highly influential Atavistic label, Radiale is back, bringing together explosive energy, avant-jazz improvisation and experimental rock in a landmark collaboration. Featuring saxophone player Ken Vandermark, bassist Nate McBride and gifted Afro-American drummer Hamid Drake the record has a slightly more exploratory feel. Listening to Radiale feels less like following a sequence of songs and more like being drawn into a continuous sonic current. The music is driven by hypnotic, circular rhythms and abrupt dynamic shifts, moving from sparse, almost suspended moments to sudden, explosive bursts. The baritone sax often functions more as a percussive force than a melodic instrument, while the bass locks into distorted, looping figures and the drums maintain a relentless, tightly controlled intensity. With amazing cover versions of classic Afro futurist anthems -- the Sun Ra medley "We Travel The Spaceways/Space is The Place," Art Ensemble Of Chicago "Theme De Yo-Yo" and Funkadelic "You And Your Folks, Me And My Folks" -- Radiale was widely appreciated in underground circles and helped cement Zu's reputation as one of the most innovative experimental bands in Europe. More than just a collection of tracks, it stands as a cohesive and immersive work aimed at listeners willing to engage with music that challenges traditional structures and expectations. Also available on black vinyl (SSR 175LP) and purple color vinyl (SSR 175LTD-LP).

RELEASE DATE: 6/5/2026
Red Sun's fourth LP is a declaration of love for hidden places, both internal and geographical, which, precisely because of their unknown allure and insecurity, inspire profound reflections and silent catharsis. The seven tracks are imbued with a sound that is at times harsh and angular, yet always cultivates a dreamlike and sometimes epic imagery. It is the first album with vocals by the talented Elisa Brusati (then the singer of Noema) and lyrics by drummer and synth player Federico Rivoli. This choice has strengthened the band's cinematic and expressive inspiration, which in previous albums was entirely instrumental. The guitar and bass parts complement a less prominent use of synths and keyboards compared to the last album, From Sunset to Dawn although there is no shortage of themes and long psychedelic digressions, such as in the songs "Hidden Places" and "Sleeping Brain." The artwork is complemented by photography by Nicola Neso and designed by graphic designer Manlio Tenaglia, inspired by Federico Rivoli, who personally carved the font used for the song titles and the band's logo into the wall of the old mill where Red Sun has its rehearsal space. All this gives strength and coherence to the artistic project, which aims to describe hidden and time-worn places for which we cherish love and which are imbued with memories and precious details.

RELEASE DATE: 6/5/2026
Here is the second studio album by the German psychedelic rock band The Citadel. It is a curious mixture of musical styles reminiscent of the time around 1967, when bands experimented in the studio and paved new paths. So maybe, the album title Dawns on Mental Highways reflects the stance towards their music. Or maybe it hints at something different. Who can tell? All you need to do is listen, and there is a lot to hear: The singer seems to have a fragile voice, yet shouts her Dylanesque lyrics angrily from time to time. The organ player soaks half of the songs with a classic acid sound. The guitar player acts a folky one, throwing in acoustic tunes and flute, before bashing into heavy electric riffs. The bass player is unusually jumpy on his Tropicana-fused lines while the drummer dances and stomps easily as needed. A strange record indeed, especially for young listeners not familiar with its roots. The Citadel think it is time again to take a trip into psychedelic rock. Let it blow your mind!

Doomedelic instrumental space prog rockers L'ira Del Baccano are back with their official fifth full length album on Subsound Records The Praise of Folly. Guitarist Alessandro Santori says about the album: "We are very excited to finally release these three songs that we have worked hard to arrange on over the past two years. Once again we invite the listener to join us on a journey beyond the constraints of song form and genre, and to dive into The Praise of Folly like reading a book where you never know what will happen when you turn the page. From the production point of view we pushed even more on the live aspect and sounds of the single performance. We decided to not edit different takes of each song but to choose which one to use on the base of general feeling and then add some post arrangements to emphasize specific passages." Also available on black vinyl (SSR 166LP) and grey/cherry transparent vinyl (SSR 166LTD).

Panoramica Degli Abissi is a plunge into the heart of a hallucination, sinking and resurfacing to become a wild, sprawling three-dimensional project on the border between audio, video, literature and illustration. It is the second album by To Die On Ice, with sounds and influences that retrieve and delve deeper into the nebulous Lynch Core of the first record, adding -- to the disturbed Black-Lodge-style sensuality, the minimalist noir jazz at ten thousand atmospheres, the soul-blues dilations and sudden vocal lacerations -- a few further acts of madness, such as an a cappella screamo-gospel moment, a touch of Fred Bongusto in a doom key, and two features with Francesca Bono and Vespertina. Also available on turquoise color vinyl (SSR 165LTD-LP).

For the Love, the Death and the Poetry is the fourth studio album by songwriter, singer, and guitarist Nero Kane. A folk liturgy that oscillates between yearnings for eternal love, fascination with death, and spectral poetry. Psychomagic mysticism, stripped-down blues, apocalyptic drones, guitar arpeggios, twilight ballads, shamanic rites, solemn organ, and string notes traverse the dark expanses of skeletal American deserts in an extended and obsessive ritual. Echoes of a romantic past evoke the eternal power of art and love in contrast to the ephemeral vanity of existence, in a journey of redemption through the blinding and dark lands of good and evil. Kane's dark folk-tinged vocals and guitars are accompanied by the mellotron and the voice of long-time collaborator and multi-talented artist Samantha Stella, creating a unique and personal style defined as cathartic, desert-like, disturbing, ritualistic, and psychedelic. References to the apocalyptic folk of Michael Gira/Jarboe/Swans, the gospel spirituality of Nick Cave, the perdition of Johnny Cash, the tragic poems of Nico -- evoked in Stella's icy spoken word, as highlighted by critics -- the visionary nature of Jodorowsky and the sick sound of Italian occult psychedelia, the latter being an element that characterizes. Also available on black (SSR 163LP) and white color vinyl (SSR 163LTD).
