"This is the first volume of a new series, featuring the sound of Munich, Great Stuff's beautiful hometown in the sunny south of Germany and also native town of Giorgio Moroder's disco sound. Munich Disco Tech presents great tracks from undiscovered talents, upcoming producers or even legendary artists, which are not necessarily from Munich but who reflect the sound of the monthly Great Stuff Night at Munich's hot club Rote Sonne. On Vol. 1 we proudly present the return of a proper legend and innovator: Tonka, who started a new genre with his cut up disco releases on Force Inc. already in 1993 and ruled the world of house music with groundbreaking remixes and his own tracks for a whole generation. After a four year break and a move to Munich he's back better than ever with two stunning tech-house tunes. John Evans aka Scary Grant from Italy are well known for their releases/remixes on Lo Fi Stereo, Hi Freaks and OM Records and also delivered a freaky rocking piece of house music for this EP in true Munich Disco Tech style.
