"Recently Fortek signed young Berliner Stefan Tretau. His style covers a wide range of electronically-tweaked minimal sounds and dirty beats, often with a Detroit feel. 'Kawaii' is a monumental track combining Detroit melodies with Berlin roughness. 'Baumeln & Schaukeln' is a typical minimal track with housey sounds. On the B-side, Literon remixes 'Kawaii': phenomenally deep with a heavy climax (played by Derrick May and Carl Craig). 'Venus Express' has a voluptuous Literon mix as well!
