Massive as Joy Division were becoming, they still played Shit-Holes like this former, partially demolished, cinema in Derby. The old seats were still in place, except for a few that were torn off of their perches to allow dancing, if required. Again, another cavernous sounding audience recording, and again they are treated to a joint band version of "Girls Don't Count" for the rarity value. Due to cancellations, probably due to Ian's failing health, this would turn out to be the penultimate Joy Division performance, before the loss of Ian Curtis.

Pink vinyl. The Sex Pistols' 1978 U.S. tour was a complete fiasco. Bassist Sid Vicious was addicted to heroin, and Johnny Rotten was barely speaking with his bandmates. The brief tour wrapped up January 14th at San Francisco's Winterland Ballroom. It was the biggest venue of the entire tour, the crowd was mainly hippies, curious to see what all the fuss was about. The band closed with a cover of the Stooges' "No Fun". When the song ends Rotten asks the crowd, "Ever get the feeling you've been cheated?" Then he drops the microphone and walks offstage. It was the last time the Sex Pistols would perform together until their reunion tour in 1996.

Dee Dee Ramone I.C.L.C. (Inter-Celestial Light Commune) was formed by Dee Dee and John Carco in 1994 in New York City. After several live shows and drummers as a three-piece line-up, the two members decided to move to Amsterdam to record for Rough Trade Records. The four-song EP Chinese Bitch and the album I Hate Freaks Like You were both released in 1994. The band toured 22 countries in a ten-month period and they never toured in the U.S. This set in Scotland catch the big energy, some of The Ramones tracks are slower or even longer than the original versions and Dee Dee plays a wonderful version of "Poison Heart" all alone.

Red vinyl. Live in London, 1986, from The Colour Of Spring tour, the last year Talk Talk would ever perform live concerts. This set shows the band in a transitional state, playing mostly pop material from "It's My Life" and "Colour Of Spring" with longer, more introspective arrangements. An excellent recording of a great band.

Black vinyl. Released in September 1969, Fleetwood Mac's third studio album, Then Play On, was their first to feature new recruit, 19-year-old guitarist Danny Kirwan, and was their last with Peter Green. Some months following the record release, Green was subjected to drinks spiked with LSD at a party in Germany, leading to his severe mental decline; after a final performance on May 20, 1970, Peter Green left Fleetwood Mac. The marvelous Mr. Green was, however, on hand and truly on form for the band's January 30, 1970 appearance at The Warehouse in New Orleans, where Messrs, Green, Kirwan, Fleetwood, Spencer, and McVie played a stunning set as support to the Grateful Dead. Mac's complete performance was recorded for local broadcast too, and from this source comes this LP featuring one of Fleetwood Mac's finest available live recordings from this period, an era sadly destined to come to a close soon after this quite extraordinary gig.

Named by AllMusic as "one of the most influential British singers of the rock era", Siouxsie Sue needs no introduction in the world of alternative music. Caught live backed by the Banshees during their first US tour in 1980, at the California Hall while promoting their second album Kaleidoscope (1980) this is the essence of goth-rock before it was even invented. Features such hits as "Israel", "Hong Kong Garden", and "Happy House". Black vinyl; edition of 500.

It's live and loud. It's urgent and proud. Hot, crowded, amped venues scattered across L.A. It's big hair, little hair, guys, girlz. It's catchy, it's topical, it's angry, it's playful, it's live. And it lives on in a rocking, throbbing, sights-and-sounds showcase. Turn it on, turn it up, this means war: The Cramps live at Urgh! A Music War. Black vinyl.
