The principles of pleasure radiate a knowing, carnal heat throughout the genre-fluid sound of LSDXOXO. His decade of dedication to the sensibility of underground club culture has brought forth club classics interwoven with pop music hooks and subversive, tongue-in-cheek lyrics. After four years of what LSDXOXO, real name RJ Glasgow, calls a period of "healing and self-discovery," he is consolidating his multiplicitous sound with one compelling masterstroke: the debut album Dogma. Dogma marks a complete paradigmatic shift: it is a poetic and fantastical performance, a route for deep escapism through an expanded musical palette including piano and guitar, and a deeply personal confessional through a fresh approach to song-crafting. Within Dogma, RJ meditates on the interlinked qualities of fame, infamy, lust and submission, as he rediscovers a pure, unadulterated approach to music-making, all the while adopting a futurist approach to pop music appreciation. RJ's unmistakable signatures -- the smutty dancefloor caller, the maker of irresistible bangers, the latter-day electroclash and DnB nostalgist -- take on even more shades and intricacies. The lead single "Ghost" reaches beyond RJ's Philadelphia origins to find itself in the deep south, in a sultry fever dream of coquettish R&B featuring backing vocals from close collaborator Kelela. Elsewhere on the album futuristic love, pensive pop earworms, evocative vintage dance styles and sleazy club tracks intermingle. While the Dogma era will eventually explore remixes and reworks, the album is RJ's purest embrace of himself and his artistry. RJ first garnered attention as LSDXOXO in New York City with his on-the-pulse Soundcloud edits and then as part of the cult GHE20GOTH1K collective. His DJ sets and productions quickly earned him acclaim across globally-linked underground scenes. His decision to shift from sampled vocals to picking up the pen and microphone pushed his reach out to the stratosphere; his association with XL Recordings via the Dedicated 2 Disrespect EP in 2021 was a turning point for the burgeoning superstar. Also featuring Rochelle Jordan.

Toujours l'été is the very first Les Négresses Vertes Best Of on vinyl. 12 classic tracks pressed on white vinyl. Les Négresses Vertes are a cult French alternative band formed in 1987 with a unique sound. The original line up was a group of nine friends, some of whom never played music before. They can best be described as a fusion of world music and alternative rock. Their particular music influences were Raï, Mediterrean music and French café/chanson française. After two cult albums Mlah (BEC 5543328) and Famille Nombreuse (BEC 5543330) and the death of former charismatic singer Helno, the band decided to keep on playing with Stéphane Mellino and Matias Canavese replacing Helno. After Zig-Zague (BEC 5543333) and Trabendo (BEC 5543327), they disbanded in 2001. Following a few live reunions, Stéphane and Iza Mellino reformed the band in 2018 to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Mlah with an intensive French tour. They have kept playing since. Longue vie aux Négresses Vertes!

Aurélien Hamm aka Saint DX introduces his debut album, Way Back Home. Although introspective and meditative, this album is more collaborative than ever: it features Ponko and Prinzly, with whom he co-produced Belgian rapper Damso's QALF album, as well as his friend and pianist Paul Prier and Jules Fradet. Renowned producer for Damso and Disiz, Saint Dx first came to prominence by accompanying Charlotte Gainsbourg on keyboards on her tour for the album Rest. His pop and electronic- original soundtracks inspirations can be called "ultra-classy pop" and romantism. His new single "Late" begins with an emotive, liberating cry and captivates with its potent synths.

10th anniversary reissue of this 12-track album, which was written and produced in 2013 and mixed with Erol Alkan at "The Phantasy Sound," the label's own studio in London. A difficult trick to master but like Carl Craig's More Songs About Food And Revolutionary Art, Plastikman's Consumed or more recently the work of Four Tet, the album works as a cohesive whole rather than a disparate collection of tracks. Innovative and forward thinking, Drone Logic manages to draw influences from beyond the dancefloor via My Bloody Valentine, NEU! and Chris Carter while still having the techno pulse to scale the walls of any club. The wide array of plaudits and early adopters of Daniel Avery's music is proof of this, ranging from acid house legends like The Chemical Brothers, Andrew Weatherall, and Richie Hawtin to the best of the new breed in Maya Jane Coles, James Holden, and Factory Floor. Firmly established as one of the UK's most exciting new DJ/producers having cut his teeth in Weatherall's Shoreditch studio bunker, Drone Logic follows up Avery's universally acclaimed mix CD for London clubbing institution Fabric where he remains a resident, recent remixes for Primal Scream, The Horrors, and Django Django. On Drone Logic there are no set piece vocals; when voices emerge on tracks, they are invariably disembodied, odd. And as distortion whips across techno-based backing tracks, it splices modern club music with the kind of sounds that forward thinking guitar bands might conjure up. The result is wholly compelling, gloriously transcendent and, yes, trippy.

2023 repress as double heavy weight black vinyl, with original artwork and gatefold sleeve. Originally released in 2006. Even though 5:55 isn't technically Charlotte Gainsbourg's first solo album (that would be Charlotte for Ever, which was released [in 1986] when she was 15), it is her first solo album as an adult and, with the help of a dream team of collaborators, it's a fittingly sophisticated set that touches on her father Serge's brilliantly louche, literate pop without being overshadowed by it. Air's Jean-Benoit Dunckel and Nicolas Godin (who paid tribute to Serge Gainsbourg particularly well on 10,000 Hz Legend's Wonder Milky Bitch) wrote 5:55's delicate music, while Jarvis Cocker and the Divine Comedy's Neil Hannon penned its lyrics. This mingling of French and English influences is mirrored in Charlotte Gainsbourg's subtly expressive voice and accent, which provides the perfect complement to the album's lush sounds and vivid imagery.

LP version. Patrice Bart Williams, also known as Patrice, is a singer, composer, producer and director from Germany and Sierra Leone. In 20 years, he has released a dozen albums. His music is a blend of reggae, soul, punk, folk and hip-hop. He settled in Jamaica in 2020 and decided to build a studio in the middle of the forest. This atypical location became a meeting place for artists and inspired Patrice to explore new territory. Patrice returns in 2023 with a new album entitled 9, marked by rebirth and the symbolism of the color blue. This album is the result of seven years' work, a veritable introspection into the depths of his emotions. "I was born on the 9th, the day my grandfather passed away. The notion of rebirth has always been present in my life, from my very first day. For my ninth studio album, I took the time to withdraw, to rebuild myself. The last seven years have been devoted to self-discovery, and it's this inner journey that has given life to this album." --Patrice

The unbelievable story of a child who has been scared by life and finds salvation through the love of his dogs. This is the story of Dogman, Luc Besson's new movie, shown at the Venice Film Festival and the Deauville American Film Festival, and starring Caleb Landry Jones. Besson returns to the dark tones of his first feature films, centered on a character on the fringes of society. He once again enlists the services of his favorite composer, Eric Serra (Le Grand Bleu, Nikita, Le Cinquième Element, etc.), who is responsible for the music of almost all his films. Serra's worked with a philharmonic orchestra, the Budapest Scoring Orchestra, for this soundtrack. On top of Eric Serra's new music, it also includes "Non, Je ne Regrette Rien" and its English version "No Regrets" performed by Edith Piaf and "Autumn Star" by Sateen. Collector digipack CD.

German neo-classical techno trio Brandt Brauer Frick is back with Multi Faith Prayer Room their fifth album and probably their most ambitious to date. Recorded over the past two years, it includes collaborations with Mykki Blanco, Azekel, Marina Herlop, Kom_I, Sophie Hunger, and Duane Harden. Their new album is a great example of their modern and hybrid approach to electronic music. The band still combines acoustic drumming and drums machines, syncopated layered bass and hectic Steve Reich-inspired piano to create simultaneously analogic and synthetic techno tracks.

Born in 1947, Daniel Vangarde is a French songwriter and producer. In 1967, he met Jean Kluger who became his publisher. In the 1970s, their tandem stood out in those fields, for a plethora of popular French artists such as Petula Clark, Claude François, Joe Dassin, Dalida, Régine, Sheila, and Ringo. 1975 saw the birth of Vangarde's label, Zagora, and his first and only solo LP. Later on, Vangarde and Kluger were responsible for a number of hit songs by The Gibson Brothers, Ottawan, and La Compagnie Créole. With or without Kluger, Vangarde also wrote and produced songs that remained underground, under several monikers (Starbow, Who's Who, Soul Iberica Band, Yamasuki, Rocky & Vandella...) and for various artists. Because Music opens these incredible cosmic disco funk vaults.
