In 2007, under Ennio Morricone's supervision, Il pentito was expanded on GDM CD with the addition of eight bonus tracks. Now, this presentation, taken from the stereo masters of the original sessions, is back on the market.

Beat Records reissues on CD the brilliant OST by Ennio Morricone for the romantic film La notte e il momento, directed in 1995 by Anna Maria Tatò with a screenplay by Anna Maria Tatò and Jean-Claude Carrière, photography by Giuseppe Rotunno, editing by Ruggero Mastroianni, music by Ennio Morricone. Morricone perfectly represented the eighteenth century in music with a fascinating orchestral soundtrack introduced by the cheerful and fast-paced baroque main theme. The composer always created atmospheres balanced between romanticism and comedy. The love theme emerges in "La notte e il momento," which listeners hear again in "The loving game" sung by Simona Patitucci. The purely eighteenth-century atmosphere is produced by the sound of "Un clavicembalo," the mysterious and suspended string tremolos acting as background in "Spiegazioni di torture," and a solemn march for wind instruments and strings in "Tromba e cavalli." In 1995, Sony published a CD prepared by the composer, and in 2011, GDM reissued this music on CD with the addition of six bonus tracks for which Ennio Morricone gave his approval. This presentation returns this OST to the market as a tribute to the musical brilliance of Ennio Morricone.

Beat Records presents the world premiere of the complete original motion picture soundtrack for the movie Il cacciatore di squali, directed in 1979 by Enzo G. Castellari. Superstar Franco Nero is Mike Di Donato, an Italian-American with a mysterious past dominated by a terrible event from which he is probably fleeing, leads the life of a good savage on a deserted island with his own version of Friday, played by Marta Miller, the gorgeous Argentinian actress with a prolific career in genre cinema. There are obviously many differences between this and Defoe's Crusoe, as this is a contemporary story that merely takes some aesthetic inspiration from the aforementioned novel, mainly the isolation from civilization and immersion in nature. The soundtrack was composed by Guido & Maurizio De Angelis during a deeply influential period in music history, as 1979 was the moment in which the disco music phenomenon was spreading like wildfire across the world, infusing every creative endeavor with its powerful energy, and the brothers Maestro were no exception. The main titles burst from the speakers with great skill, creating a musical transition from a quiet seaside scene into Mike's dynamic fight with a shark. Pulsating grooves, nervous guitars, derailing brasses, breaks artfully edited into sync, and the general musical tension creates a magnet for the spectator, glued onto the screen with both eyes and ears. Two other musical themes in the score lend a hand, one for lighter, more comedic situations and everyday life, and a series of tense electronic cues accentuated by a few live instruments.

The score for Emanuelle e gli ultimi cannibali (Emanuelle And The Last Cannibals), a movie featuring the beautiful Laura in new dangerous adventures! The wonderful score by Maestro Fidenco is influenced by the changement of the musical influences. The score opens with a wonderful danceable "Make love on the wing" that could have be composed by Change or Chic. The Maestro doesn't delude listeners by preparing a variation on the theme that gives the Emanuelle flavor with alternate solutions, without falling in sterile self-quoting. If you thought earlier Emanuelle scores had a great rhythm now you shall face this new sound experience and it will leave you astonished! Liner notes written by Maestro Fidenco, mastering by Enrico De Gemini, graphic layout by Daniele De Gemini.

Beat Records reissues the soundtrack by Ennio Morricone for the drama film La Scorta, directed in 1993 by Ricky Tognazzi, with a screenplay by Graziano Diana and Simona Izzo. Ennio Morricone is no stranger to the noir and crime genres. It was only natural for Morricone to continue his collaboration with Ugo Tognazzi's son Ricky, director of La scorta. At the time, Morricone prepared a 21-track assembly with a running time of approximately 49:21, derived from the stereo masters tapes of the original session. That material was first released on the premiere CD release and reissued in 2000 on CD and on vinyl. Thirty-two years after the original CD release and twenty-five years after the CD reissue, this thrilling soundtrack returns to the market on CD. To illustrate the drama and violence of the story, Morricone composed a soundtrack that draws deeply from his well-known sounds from the films of the '70s. This CD is truly essential for any collection dedicated to the musical genius of the immense Ennio Morricone.

Beat Records presents a reissue of Ennio Morricone's score for the cult western My Name Is Nobody, directed in 1973 by Tonino Valerii and starring Terence Hill, Henry Fonda, Leo Gordon, Jean Martin, Geoffrey Lewis, Piero Lulli, Benito Stefanelli, R.G. Armstrong, Alexander Allerson, Franco Angrisano, Mario Brega, Marc Mazza, Remus Peets, and Antoine Saint John. Ennio Morricone composed one of the soundtracks most beloved by his fans around the world, using elements typical of his genius, such as Alessandro Alessandroni's whistling, the voice of Edda Dell'Orso (and many other highly esteemed soloists), but also mixed with some sonic innovations, such as in "Mucchio Selvaggio," where the composer even ventures to include Wagner's "Ride of the Valkyries." This CD was created using the stereo/mono masters of the original session, with a total running time of 74:21. Mastering by Claudio Fuiano, production notes by Andrea Morandi, graphic layout by Daniele De Gemini.
