"The two label operators are back with (three) remixes ... First of all there's 'Kommanda Acid Hop mix' for Mediengruppe Telekommander. This mix was so far only available as mp3 and on the promotional CD accompanying the 'Die Ganze Kraft Einer Kultur' ('The Whole Power of a Culture') tour. German rap with an Austrian accent meets acid and wild scratches. Paired with a dash of revolution an explosive mixture. We call it...acid hop! The b-side starts with a mix for the Bavarian indie-rockers Pelzig. 'Cecilias on the Run' is one of the best tracks on Pelzig's last album
Drive Your Engine Clean
, published two years ago by the Weilheimer label Payola. Previously unreleased due lack of money the Teichmanns unleashed this wonderfull rocker and you can finally rave to their spiced up mix. And last but not least the 'Faq Grambamboli Acid Hop Mix', kind of an 'Autoremix', as the two Teichmann brothers were already playing Moog and drums for Beigegt's original version. This mix captures the energy of the original while heading into a new direction: the angry rocking offbeatstomper morphs into a funky ravemonster with Bigegt singer Martin Haygis taking much pleasure in bawling at the listener. We call it...acid hop."
