March 2018: the release of Enzo Pietropaoli's latest album Woodstock Reloaded represents, in a contemporary perspective, some of the most significant pages of the pivotal and epic moment which took place in August 1969 representing the peak of hippie culture, not exclusively related to its musical significance. Woodstock Reloaded wasn't conceived to be a "cover" but an original re-reading, an "update" of the reverberating impact and a reminder of those emotions, animating memories and encompassing the milestones that followed as it approaches through time. This is a tribute to the festival and a narration of the turning points and evolution of musical language from that moment to present day. The iconic artists included represent, according to Pietropaoli, the highlights of those days and the most significant performances, not only in terms of music but also of their impact on the cultural movement, on the clothing, and ideology -- transcending borders. Among these are: Santana, The Who, Janis Joplin, Joan Baez, Joe Cocker, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Sly And The Family Stone, and Jimi Hendrix.
