Listening, by chance, to the track "Alternate Music for the Hindenberg Lounge Pt.2," contained on the 1982 vinyl recording The American Music Compilation on the Eurock label, Daniele Baldelli discovered the music of Richard Bone for the first time. For regular clients of the Cosmic Club (in Lazise , Lake Garda, Verona), it soon became a very sought-after track, thanks to Baldelli's special mixing talents: he used to play this track at 45 instead of 33 rpm, overlaying it on Mike Oldfield's "Foreign Affair." Marco Dionigi must have liked it too when, at the age of 14, he heard the music of the Cosmic Club for the first time and immediately became a big Baldelli fan. Maybe thanks to this musical meeting, Dionigi began his career as a DJ, giving his best at Verona's Alter Ego Club. Perhaps through fate or a common feeling for certain sounds, Baldelli and Dionigi met by chance in 1992. This resulted in an alliance, a great friendship and a close collaboration that led to them experimenting with new sounds and comparing musical choices, working on several productions. In 2008, Baldelli & Dionigi released the album Cosmic Disco...Nah Cosmic Rock! on Eskimo Records, which included a re-edited Richard Bone track. At that point, thanks to the Web, they made direct contact with Richard Bone, which resulted in them producing this album. The album contains 13 tracks that have been completely re-edited, arranged, adapted and remixed by Daniele Baldelli & Marco Dionigi. It represents their tribute to musician Richard Bone, a way of thanking him for the musical influence and inspiration they have received.
