"Donso (literally 'hunter') is the unexpected union of Krazy Baldhead, rising figure from the Ed Banger imprint, a Malian singer with a unique voice, Gédéon, and Thomas, master instrumentalist of the 'Donso n'Goni.' For almost three years, they have been hunting for some good vibrations between Bamako and Paris. Today, Donso offer two of their best trophies as starters on a wax plate signed by InFiné. A side: 'Somono Foly' brings together howling bass, heady electro-beats and chopped kalimba sounds for a brisk celebration of modernism and tradition.
