Dyed Soundorom's Icare EP takes in three tracks -- the title track is a loose shaker that is as old school as it is modern. "Love Juice" presents bumping drums and a gorgeous, walking bass line which oozes the sort of late-night funk that defines Dyed's DJ sets. "She Knows" is deep-as-hell and locks into a groove early on and rides it out wonderfully, interrupted only by a spoken vocal refrain which increases the energy. Simple, honest, and quality house music.
