Frankfurt-based Max Wendling has released records under the name Paradroid on labels like Mille Plateaux, Orac, Overdrive and Friends Of Tomorrow. Monster Waves Revealed is four tracks of pure abstract techno -- or call it minimal grooving techno. Paradroid combines molecular sounds and splatter with deep, earthy grooves which move forward in whirling sequences. Paradroid functions on extreme dancefloors and the dancefloor is given a stunning digital set up. Similar to Akufen a few years ago, this is funky micromusic for different ears and bodies.

"Max Wending has concocted a record of immense knee-bending power, a potent dose of the Paradroid funk formulated to ruffle, inflame and possibly even entrance your local discotheque. Side A: 'The Balearic Dream Recovery' -- a series of invalid entries into the paradroid algorithm have been perfectly resequenced into a joyous soundtrack for the dancehalls of the grotesque. In Dapayk's version 'The Balearic Dream Recovery' does not reoccur -- a completely unrelated yet just as tantalizing dream is formed instead. Once the needle reaches the last track on this record, your turntable will suddenly age a thousand years, the electric circuits of your house will be shorting frequently and the 'Broken Anticipator Module,' true to its name, will broadcast an urgent malfunction across all bandwidths."

"Welcome to the world of cultures, evergrowing organizations and biotope networks. Modern mathematics, everyday politics, that party last night but also Paradroids nasty transformations -- all that is actually dealing with clouds. You can't catch it in the whole, it's like to be young and professional at the same time. Some might call it abstract but let us tell you: take a close look and relax. You will discover this macrocosmos of relations which also you can say 'hello' to real soon. Watch it! Game theory and Lack of sleep -- that dark chapter above your console. Still not finished resynchronizing all those threads once blasted in a lightning and a quaking tic. You still can't stop fallout and those artefacts won't let you down also. So what would we do without that resource from outer space found near a Roman river? It might even replace all energy resources one day. Join us! All you need is rock-solid gear. But be aware of Sodium Fluoride! It's causing Cancer and today it's even to be found in Captain Blueberry's toothpaste. Actually no one really cares -- and so the disease might be a common part of world population's biosetting some day. But as long as we won't stop moving nothing will happen. Don't worry .. but never forget to provide substitute. Ever heard of Nematodes? You can't see'em, you can't hear'em, those little worms. They are all around us -- rising. They live with us , they eat with us and they are as close as we love it so much usually. Hear a close-up of Paradroids friends of tomorrow. And one day even they are dancing ... Anyway -- don't forget to wash your hands. We also would like to send our best wishes to Paradroid -- still defending that High Score."

"First solo-artist EP by aspiring artist Paradroid. Right now his first album is being released on Plateaux Resistance (formerly known as Mille Plateaux) and another EP on Seattle-based Orac label. Here on his pals' label he presents some more shiny little pearls of his extraordinary way of clicky, funked up, hi-tek minimal-tech-house. Non-clichee bitcrush adventures, soundscape-ish, a stream of crystalline details progressing into unknown and unheard beauty. EP starts with S-max' remix, being the kinda housey-est interpretation. Funky bassline, Detroity chords, vocals whispered by S-max himself and some more of those wellknown personal ingredients add up to a well-balanced personal blend of nowadays dance-music, ready to burn floors all over the place. Fym's remix gets it slightly more twisted, features a driving bassline, stomping and narrative alike, hands-in-the-air-chords fall into place somewhat slightly differently, creating a moody dancetrack, manifested to rock-all speaking special-Fym-language. Flipside (not being the flipside) features the artists original tracks, here things get more ethereal, shattered fragments of all kinds dance their way along upon slimline beats, dissected basslines and hovering chords. Condensed atmosphere, familiar warmth of places, we haven't visited yet... Another step towards unspoiled truth of heart in the field of house again the sonic alliance of Boogizm delivers hi-quality clubmusic for those, who are receptive to signals of a less familiar tone, while maintaining gourmet-nouveau danceability. Funk accompanies every step of our brave comrades on their path to liberation of all minds to be found."
