He is also a talented producer under the name of Nooncat with releases on Salo, Treibstoff, M.I.S. and Trenton. This new release shows Alexei's skills for building solid minimal tech house grooves. His previous releases were out on German labels as Treibstoff, Konvex-Konkav, Salo, Trapez, and in Russia -- on Citadel Rec. We are proud to release these amazing 3 tracks from Alexei on Trenton. First 'Love': a killer deep minimal groovy tune with a poppy synth line that just stays into your head forever... Followed by Reynold's remix (half of Duplex100 and Trenton's owner). On B side 'Sex' is just this outstanding electro tech house track, definitely the dance-floor treat of that record! It is fat; it grooves and drives. Finally 'Psychic Kids' could actually be a dance remix of a Boards of Canada tune. A very strange and atmospheric cut to end a set... or to start it."
