Naarm/Melbourne's Animals Dancing return with I Wanna Feel You, the debut acid-laced EP from Berlin-via-Tokyo's supreme chug lord, Courtney Bailey, and the twelfth release on the label. Across three versions of the acidic, floating title track, Bailey delivers varying degrees of atmosphere, coupling her hazy vocals -- drifting between English and Japanese -- with an undulating acid line and crisp percussion. On shamanic stomper "Animals Ate the Mushroom," manic percussion madness meets calls of the wild, while "I Feel the Future" finds a middle ground with animalistic sirens, SFX, bubbly acid lines, and distant vocals, driven by an FM bass line and tight, punchy percussion.
