RE: "Music for Quiet Space": "Conceived to condition space through the creation of an absolutely homogeneous, slowly-changed field of sound colour. Within the performance of the work, original sounds picked up from the vibraphone are continuously recorded and reproduced over and over again at 12-second intervals. The delayed sounds are adjusted to slowly fade away over a period of approximately three minutes. This treatment of the original sounds creates the work's characteristically static clouds of sound colour and enhances the music's slow changes in register and dynamics."
