2009 release. The Untied Knot's debut album, featuring the duo of Nigel Bryant on guitar and synthesizer and Matt Donovan on tabla and percussion. Airplay included Stuart Maconie's Freak Zone on BBC 6 Music and Late Junction on BBC Radio 3 in the UK, and Shrunken Planet on WFMU in the USA. The sound recalls contemporary folk instrumentalists such as Voice of the Seven Woods, as well as earlier folk revivalists. Released on CD in fully recycled packaging with artwork by an unknown Japanese artist from the late Meiji period.
