2005 release. "Todd aka Terje Olsen hails from Mjøndalen, as in Mjøndalen Diskoklubb, but there's actually nothing clubby about that place. Studying astrophysics and being a DJ was only ever going to end in one way: space disco! Todd Terje's 'Bodies' was Terje's first release, (although it was remixed by Prins Thomas). It rocked DJs worldwide with its infectious bassline and Prins' disco drums, but Terje has many tricks up his own sleeve with some cheeky remixes on Swedish label GAMM, backed by his own cover version of Kitty Winter's 'New Morning.' And he's currently working on a remix of Snuten's 'Claws Against Knives (Wild And Free).' One thing Terje did wish he could do is to make a non-stop disco soundtrack about a German safari-team in space....'I wish I had more time producing music, but studying astrophysics takes time too!' "What a year it's been for Terje Olsen one minute he's studying hard in Oslo the next week half of the globe wants him in their club at the weekend! I have heard so many good things said about 'Eurodans' that I really don't think writing anymore spiel about will do it justice. It needs to be played to be believed. It's like the cartoon company Acme making a tin of 'Acme instant dancefloor filler' for the roadrunner. Playing 'Eurodans' is like a full dancefloor in a minute. But 'Eurodans' is not the only gem as Terje also delivers on the other side. "This is yet another newcomer hailing from the remote region of Telemark. As a taster for a forthcoming album (and solo 12"s by both these guys) this time around, it's the pairing of Prins Thomas' long-time friend Marius Våreid and his partner Jarle Bråthen who steps into the light. No need to say much about this but we might be sitting on the most anticipated Full Pupp in a while. When head honcho Prins Thomas dropped this on his and Lindstrøm's recent Essential Mix, it caused a bursting inbox with requests about release date. A nice little low-slung house track with just a sprinkling of disco. Just like we like it. In a perfect world, this would be a universal floor filler, with its cute little brass hook and smooth pads."
